Kristi / Practice Manager
Born and raised in San Diego, Kristi has always had a passion for animals. She followed in her mother’s footsteps in the animal care field at the young age of 16. Having worked at a number of animal care facilities in San Diego, she says that San Diego Pet Hospital is one of the best. Kristi has five dogs — three English Bulldogs named Hippo, Hope and Knucklehead, an English bulldog/Standard Poodle mix named Grover, and her senior Pit Bull, Pebbles. She also has a hermit crab, a beta fish, and five horses that she enjoys spending time with on the weekends. Kristi has developed a special interest in dermatology, having an English Bulldog with severe allergies, and she is always working to sharpen her technician skills and knowledge. Kristi has a heart of gold for all animals and she strives to help all of our clients and patients feel as comfortable as possible. Kristi recently welcomed her first child, Alexa and loves being a mommy!!
Morgan / Client Services Representative
Morgan has been in customer service for 15 years and decided to make the transition to the veterinary field four years ago. In her spare time she enjoys trying new things, traveling, and cooking. Morgan has two cats at home, Sparky a 9 year old DSH and Bella a 7 year old tabby. The most important part of Morgan’s day is being able to help clients and their pets. Her job is very rewarding and she always leaves San Diego Pet Hospital with a smile on her face.
Brittany / Client Services Representative
Brittany was born and raised in California, originally from northern Los Angeles, but now calls San Diego home. She is a beach loving hippie with a massive heart for people and animals. Although the veterinary field was not originally her plan, it ended up being her life saver, and it is the most fulfilling job she has ever had. Brittany couldn’t imagine ever having a job in a different field, and hopes to further her career in the field of veterinary medicine.
Keelie / Client Services Representative
Keelie has been in the veterinary field since May 2014. Born in Northern California, she is a self-described “navy brat” who grew up on the East and West coasts. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and will be pursuing her Master’s degree in couple’s therapy. Keelie lives happily with her husband of 15 years, Jeff, their 16 year old son, Riley, 2 dogs: an Aussie mix named Ferris and a Boxer named Manny, as well as 4 cats: Keelie’s favorite Mr. Clyde; sisters Biscuits and Gravy; and their newest feral kitten Sailor J. Keelie has always loved any and all animals. She loves her work in the field because she finds it very fulfilling to create the best environment possible and offer the best care to all of our clients and their furry family members.
Shayna / Registered Veterinary Technician
Shayna, often called Shay, is a Registered Veterinary Technician, and has been in the field for 17 years. From the young age of seven, Shayna knew she wanted to work with animals. Growing up she always had a zoo of animals, and now shares her home with a 15 year old cat named Moses and a nine month old puppy named Chip. Although she doesn’t have as many animals as some who work in the Veterinary Field, Shayna gets her fix by caring for animals every day at work, and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
Francine / Veterinary Technician
Francine was born and raised right here in San Diego, and has the biggest heart of anyone you will ever meet. Prior to attending college to gain professional veterinary skills she worked with special education students throughout the San Diego school system. In addition to her loving attention to the health and well-being of your animal companions, Francine also devotes her home life to animals in need by fostering displaced pets until they can be placed back with their families, or until a new loving home is found for them. Francine is an inspiration to all of us here at San Diego Pet Hospital because she truly loves each and every pet she meets. She shares her home with two bearded dragons and her Australian Shepherd mix named Pickles.
Aidee / Veterinary Technician
Aidee was born in San Diego and raised near the border. In 2009 she graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at (name of school here) and has been working in the field ever since! . In her spare time she enjoys reading, going to concerts, taking road trips to LA and SF whenever possible, visiting her best friend in Riverside, and spending time with her mom and brothers. She lives with two German Shepherds–Luna and Lunito, a black cat named Lungs, and a tripod poodle mix named Hemingway who likes to chew on her phone chargers. Aidee brings her knowledge and great personality to the SDPH family!
Stacy / Veterinary Technician
Stacy has been working in the Veterinary Field for the past eight years. Currently she has four dogs, four cats, three horses, and a toucanet. In her off time, Stacy loves hanging out with her animals, going horseback riding, and working around the house doing projects. She loves being able to work with animals every day and cannot wait to meet you and your fur kids!
Madison / Veterinary Assistant
Madison was born and raised here in her favorite city, San Diego. She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. During the summers of her sophomore and junior years, she interned here at San Diego Pet Hospital to learn about the world of small animal medicine. During that time she fell in love with caring for the pets that come through our doors. Since graduating, she has joined our team and is now working full-time with us. Madison has three dogs at home—a Cairn terrier mix named Willow, a pug-dachshund mix named Charles, and a sweet, senior, Brittany spaniel named Hailey. Her dream is to one day become a veterinarian in order to provide care for animals in need.
Ashlyn / Kennel Assistant
Ashlyn was born in 29 Palms, CA and moved to San Diego when she was young. Being around animals always made her happy and she started rescuing animals when she was in middle school, which is when she realized that a path in the veterinary field would be a great career. When Ashlyn was in high school she took a college course to become a veterinary assistant. This inspired her to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), with the ultimate goal of working with big cats and assisting with surgical procedures. Once she began working at a veterinary hospital, she discovered how much she loved working with pets and their owners. Ashlyn has five dogs at home – Gypsy, a 10 year old shepherd mix; Lila, a 5 year old dachshund mix; and three Alaskan Klee Kaia, Mya, Misti, and Miska.
